What if I want to order a Gift Card but not over the internet?

What amount can I give?

Fat's Gift Cards are available in any denomination from $25.00 to $500.00.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept American Express, Visa, and MasterCard.

My credit card was declined while placing an order on your website. Why?

Credit cards become worn and faded over time. When entering the Credit Card Security, it is important to enter the correct numbers as our website will decline the card if the security code is incorrect.

But I called my bank and they have told me the transaction had been approved. Was my order successfully submitted and accepted?

Some financial institutions will put a hold on the funds and show the transaction as "pending" or "approved". If you receive a DECLINE message on our website, the order was not successfully accepted into our system and the charges will drop off in 3-5 business days.

Can I purchase a gift card and have it sent to someone else?

Yes. We can send your Fat's Gift card to anyone with a valid street address in the United States. There are three carrier options for you to choose from:
  1. United States Postal Service's Priority Mail
    • There is a Priority Mail charge that will be applied to your order.
    • Mail is delivered in an average of 2-3 days
    • Delivery to all U.S. addresses, including PO boxes and military addresses.
    • Delivery ConfirmationTM is available.
  2. Federal Express (Standard 2 day)
    • There is a Federal Express charge that will be applied to your order.
    • Gift cards sent via Federal Express can only be sent to a physical street address.
    • Federal Express will not deliver to a PO Box.
    • A signature may not be required when delivering to a residence. In some cases, a "Signature Release" may be on file for the recipient with FedEx, allowing the carrier to leave the package at the door.
    • FedEx will make three attempts to deliver the package before returning it to our office.
  3. Federal Express Next Day
    • There is a Federal Express charge that will be applied to your order.
    • Gift cards sent via Federal Express can only be sent to a physical street address.
    • Federal Express will not deliver to a PO Box.
    • A signature may not be required when delivering to a residence. In some cases, a "Signature Release" may be on file for the recipient with FedEx, allowing the carrier to leave the package at the door.
    • FedEx will make three attempts to deliver the package before returning it to our office.

What do I do if not receive the gift card I ordered?

All gift cards that are reported missing, not received, and sent via FedEx will be tracked. If the card has not been used, our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you. You can contact us at 916.441.4184.

What happens if I lose the gift card that I ordered?

If the gift card was sent via priority mail a replacement card will sent after sufficient time has been allowed for the card to reach the recipient. In the case of priority mail this is 2-5 business days.

One of the reasons we have chosen Priority Mail and FedEx options is because we want to be able to track ALL Fat's gift card orders. Orders are processed Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Pacific Coast Time).

What is the amount of time it takes to receive a gift card?

The shipping time will depend on the delivery method you select.
Listed below are the delivery options and the appropriate charges:
  • United States Priority Mail: 2-3 Business Days ($4.80)
  • Federal Express Standard 2 Day Service: 2 Business Days ($13.75)
  • Federal Express Overnight Service: 1 Business Day ($22.50)
Orders received between 1:00 p.m. Friday (Pacific Coast Time) and 1:00 p.m. Monday will be shipped on Monday.

I ordered a gift card on Friday before 1:00 p.m. (Pacific Coast Time) and paid extra to have it shipped FedEx Overnight. Why didn't it arrive on Saturday?

As it states on our website, when any FedEx option is selected as the desired delivery method, "Any order placed after 1 p.m. (Pacific Coast Time) will be processeed the next business day."

FedEx orders will be delivered M-F only. They will not be delivered on Saturday or Sunday.

Can I place an order for several cards at one time?

Yes. Multiple cards may be purchased online.
